Arctic Fox Change-Out Head Form. Fox Change-Out Form for Soft Mount or Traditional Mounts 

Taxidermy head mannequins made with the soft mount taxidermist in mind. These forms allow you to confidently mount your critter of choice! Originally hand cast from a real head and refined with hand-sculpted details, this polyurethane form offers anatomical detail that will bring your mounts to life! Crafted from taxidermy-grade urethane foam, it is lightweight, durable, and easy to carve or modify. These head forms feature a highly detailed nose and upper eyelid detail for easy eye setting; these forms are ideal for soft mount taxidermy! They can also be used to replace heads on traditional forms, or for creative projects such as faux mounts, props, and art dolls.

Please note that all forms require preparation before the hide can be applied! Forms should be roughened, modified to the size of your unique animal, and lip lines cut out to provide a perfect fit! Forms are in stock and ready to ship! For most accurate form sizing, measure your raw specimen, or your rehydrated, ready to mount pelt.

 If measuring from a dry pelt, assume a small amount of stretch.

 A: Measure in a straight line from the middle tip of the nose to the front inside corner of the eye.

B: Width of the eyes between the front corners of the eyes.

C: Measure from the tip of the nose to the back of the head.

D: Measure the width of the widest part of the head.
