Taxidermy Glue 4oz tin - Hide Paste for Taxidermy Mounts

This acrylic and silicone-based glue provides excellent adhesion of your hide to your form and ear liners. 

Sold in 4 oz (by volume) tins, perfect for those who want to dip their toes into taxidermy without buying large quantities of supplies. Glue typically sets within 24 to 48 hours.

1 tin can be used to mount...

• x1 full body rabbit or small animal
• x1 red fox, coyote, or raccoon pedestal (shoulder mount)
• x2 - 3 fox head only mounts (soft mounts) with ear liners.
• x1 - 2 coyote head only mounts (soft mounts) with ear liners. 

How to use:

1.      Prep your hide and form, ensuring all modifications have been made and the hide test fit.

2.       Rough up the surface of your form and ear liners (sandpaper or form rougher)

3.      Make sure your hide is damp but not soaking wet.

4.       Use a mixing stick to apply a thin layer of glue on your form.

5.      Gently slide the skin on the form. Position the skin, sew, and let dry! To clean from fur or off of glass eyes, use acetone.
